Everything Bagel Baked Chicken Wings on a plate. New York and New Jersey have THE BEST bagels. Well at least in my opinion. It must have something to do with our water because they just don't taste the same in other states. Nor do they look the same.

If you get an everything bagel; which is one of our favorite types, it's so big you that I can hardly eat it in one sitting. Then it has to be toasted with butter AND cream cheese. Yes, you heard me right. Don't knock it until you try it!

Our favorite place to get local bagels is KC's Bagel Express; though the kids like making midnight runs to G&A's because it's a little closer to home. They just love their Taylor Ham, Egg & Cheese sandwiches!

What's in Everything Bagel Seasoning?

Our oldest daughter recently got some of Everything Bagel Seasoning from Trader Joe's. You can buy different brands elsewhere and on Amazon or you can make your own blend using sesame seeds, sea salt, dried minced garlic, dried minced onion, black sesame seeds, and poppy seeds.

Since I had recently purchased some wings to make a new recipe, I decided to go the dry rub route and try this seasoning on them. We also wanted the wings baked, not fried like these Hooter's Wings.

Chicken wings aren't the healthiest of choices, but they are a little bit better when they're baked and not fried. As you also know, I don't like to use a lot of ingredients and all you need are three (yes only three!) ingredients to make this recipe!

A single wingette of Everything Bagel Baked Chicken Wings

How do you make Everything Bagel Baked Chicken Wings?

For this recipe you'll need chicken wingettes, EVOO and Everything Bagel Seasoning. Wingettes are what you get when you cut a chicken wing in half and remove the wing part; getting a flat and a leg looking part.

You can buy them already cut into wingettes fresh or frozen or you can purchase chicken wings and cut them down yourself. If you use frozen, make sure they are completely defrosted and patted dry before making this recipe.

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Add the wing sections to a large bowl, add the oil and seasoning and toss to coat. Place the wings on a baking sheet lined with parchment or one that has a rack. Cook for 1 hour until the wings are crispy and golden brown.

Cooked Everything Bagel Wings on plate.

These Everything Bagel Baked Chicken Wings were so simple to make..love it! You can serve these as an appetizer, game day snack or increase the recipe and serve for dinner with Chili Garlic Green Beans and Sour Cream & Chive Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes.

They were so flavorful and crispy that no dip was needed, but this garlic and cheese crudite dip would make a tasty dipping sauce too! If you follow a special diet, these wings are a powerhouse because they are also: Gluten Free, Dairy Free, Keto and Whole30 diet approved. ~Enjoy!
