This Honey Dijon London Broil marinated in honey, Dijon mustard and fresh rosemary; then grilled is super tender and delicious.
We eat steak a lot more during the Summer months, but my favorite cut, the rib eye, can be super expensive. So I try to save a little money and get less expensive cuts of beef.
These cuts generally make good steaks to marinate and grill, like this Honey Dijon London Broil. You can read more about what London Broil actually is in this post; however, it's not a cut of meat, but rather a process to cook it.
That's why I like to try new marinades and recipes to give it that extra flavor. Since grilling season here in NJ isn't over yet, it's time for another steak recipe!
How do you make Honey Dijon Marinated London Broil?
For this recipe you'll need a beef top round steak (London broil), honey, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, fresh rosemary, Canola oil, Kosher salt and black pepper.
Combine all ingredients in a bowl and whisk until smooth. Add the London broil to resealable plastic bag; then add the marinade.
Coat the meat on all sides and refrigerate 4-24 hours. Remove the steak from the refrigerator 15 minutes prior to grilling; then grill to your desired temperature.
For medium temperature, you want to cook it approximately 10-12 minutes; flipping so as not to char the outside too much. You'll also want to allow the meat to rest 5-10 minutes before slicing.
We really enjoyed this Honey Dijon London Broil recipe and it was very tender and flavorful. Serve with a tossed salad, roasted potatoes and green beans. ~Enjoy!
