Regular tater tots get a flavorful twist with the addition of fresh minced garlic and grated Parmesan cheese for a delicious side dish.

These Garlic Parmesan Tater Tots take the ultimate, classic comfort food to a whole new level by combining crispy, golden brown potato bites with savory flavors. 

Serve them as a snack or a side dish with sliders, sandwiches or even meatloaf. Either way, everyone is going to love these pillowy bites of deliciousness! ~ Enjoy!

Ingredients Needed

To make this recipe you're going to need the following ingredients: 

Frozen Tater Tots: You can use any variety of tater tot whether they're regular, mini or even the crowns. 

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Kosher Salt

Black Pepper

Minced Garlic: Fresh is always best. 

Grated Parmesan Cheese: Or any sharp finely grated cheese

Chopped Parsley

How do you make Garlic Parmesan Tater Tots?

Start by preheating the oven to 425 degrees F. Add the frozen tater tots to a mixing bowl along with the olive oil, salt and pepper; then gently toss to coat. 

Place the tater tots on a sheet pan in a single layer; then bake for 30 minutes until crispy and golden brown.

Remove the pan from the oven and add the tater tots back to the mixing bowl along with the garlic, cheese and parsley. 

Toss to coat; then transfer to a serving dish and serve hot.

  • 1- (30 ounce) bag frozen tater tots (I used Crispy Crowns)
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ⅛ teaspoon black pepepr
  • ⅓ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons minced garlic
  • 2 tablespoons chopped parsley
