How do you make Cinnamon Roll French Toast Casserole?
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Melt the butter; then place it in the bottom of the casserole dish.
Using the kitchen shears, cut the cinnamon rolls into eight pieces each; then place in a medium sized mixing bowl. Set the icing aside; leaving it at room temperature.
Combine the eggs, milk, and vanilla extract in a small mixing bowl; then whisk until well blended.
Pour the egg mixture into the dough, mix well; then pour into the casserole dish.
Bake for 30 minutes uncovered. Cover the dish with foil; then cook for an additional 10 minutes or until the dough puffs up and the eggs are cooked through. Remove the dish from the oven.
Remove the metal top from the icing; then heat in the microwave for 10 seconds. Drizzle the icing on top of the breakfast casserole; then serve hot with fresh fruit or drizzled with your favorite maple syrup.
