Treat yourself with these Lightened Up Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Bites. At only 75 calories each, I'll bet you can't eat just one!
Today is Chocolate Day so I've brought you some of these Lightened Up Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Bites. When I first saw Lark's Country Heart 's recipe for 3 Ingredient Brownies, I couldn't wait to try them. Boxed brownie mix + applesauce + pumpkin puree=Simple!
As I started out to make them, I thought I had purchased pumpkin puree, but no such luck. So I went searching for other things to add to this recipe and found peanut butter. What could be better than chocolate and peanut butter right?
How do you make Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Bites?
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. In a bowl, add your brownie mix, egg whites, applesauce and peanut butter and mix well. Spray a mini muffin tin with cooking spray or line with the paper liners; then add the batter to each cup, filling ¾ of the way to the top. Bake for 15-18 minutes; let cool.
These Lightened Up Chocolate Peanut Butter Brownie Bites make 4 dozen and were delicious! Honestly, I couldn't eat just one.
Store them in the freezer so when those chocolate cravings strike, all you have to do is pop one or two out, allow to defrost for a few minutes and you have a quick dessert. ~Enjoy!

Kind of makes me think of peanut butter cups for some reason.
Great idea doing in a little muffin tin, like a two bite.
