This quick and easy two ingredient Cherry Almond Smoothie is loaded with flavor and perfect for breakfast or an afternoon pick me up.
Though I'm not a huge fan of smoothies, my girls LOVE them! They're always thinking of fun flavor combinations and usually make them on their own. After all, they are 18 and 23 now so it's completely understandable.
School is officially over, graduation has commenced and now it's just the wait until our youngest starts college in August. She's been keeping herself busy by working, shopping for dorm supplies and painting a Disney themed character table.
To say my girls love Disney would be an understatement. They have seen just about every movie and can recite obscure lines like it's their job. I guess it could be worse.
Anyway, while our youngest was painting some characters on their table, I decided to whip her up this Cherry Almond Smoothie for an afternoon treat.
How do you a make Cherry Almond Smoothie?
Most of my other smoothie recipes have several ingredients, but this one only uses two: frozen black cherries and sweetened vanilla almond milk.
Simply add the ingredients into your blender with a little ice, blend and enjoy. That's it! I can hardly even call this a recipe.
This Cherry Almond Smoothie recipe was deliciously refreshing and no added sugar was needed. This made enough for two glasses and we both enjoyed a special, dairy free afternoon treat.
