Super simple and delicious, this Homestyle Balsamic Meatloaf made with extra lean ground beef is a tasty weeknight dinner idea.

What can you say about meatloaf? It certainly has been a food staple in the home for many, many years and was originally created as a way to stretch the food budget by using inexpensive meat and fillers.
With so many different variations of meatloaf, this Balsamic Meatloaf is simple to make and very flavorful!
How do you make Balsamic Meatloaf?
Using ground beef in recipes make it easy to get dinner on the table much faster during the week. For this recipe I used lean ground beef, onion, garlic, fresh thyme, eggs, aged balsamic vinegar, Pecorino Romano cheese and Panko breadcrumbs.
Simply mix it all together, pop it into the oven for about an hour and dinner is ready. This is simply the BEST homestyle Balsamic Meatloaf you'll ever have.
This Balsamic Meatloaf is delicious and my family really enjoyed it. Serve with mashed potatoes and a vegetable for a complete meal idea. ~Enjoy!

Balsamic Meatloaf
Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds extra lean ground beef
- ¼ cup minced red onion
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon fresh thyme
- 2 larg eggs
- ¼ cup aged balsamic vinegar
- ¼ cup grated pecorino romano cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and mix well. Shape into a rectangle; then place in an oven-safe baking dish.
- Bake for 50-60 minutes or until proper internal temperature is reached.
