Ingredients Needed

To make this recipe you're going to need the following ingredients:

Chicken Wing Sections: If using frozen wing sections, you'll need to make sure they're completely defrosted before making this recipe.

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Lemon Pepper Seasoning

Can I use whole Chicken wings?

Yes, but you'll need to cut them into sections first.

Here's how:

  1. Using a sharp knife, carefully cut the wing tip off at the joint.
  2. Next, separate the remaining wing in half by cutting it down the middle at the joint forming two sections (drumstick and flats).

This recipe makes 18 wing sections so you'll need 9 full chicken wings cut in half.

How do you make Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings?

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Add the wing sections to a colander, rinse under cold water; then pat dry with a paper towel to remove any excess moisture.

Add the wings to a mixing bowl; then add the olive oil and lemon pepper seasoning. Using a spoon, toss to evenly coat; then add the wings to a sheet pan in a single layer.

Place the pan in the oven and cook for 1 hour; rotating after 30 minutes so they crispy on both sides. Remove from the oven, place the wings on a serving platter; then serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
