Onion Dill Dip

My family loves to snack on chips and dip and this Onion Dill Dip is one of their new favorites! If you reside outside of New Jersey, you've probably never heard of Wise brand.

They make potato chips, other snack chips and a powdered green onion dip. It's their favorite dip mix and since we can't find it outside of NJ, we stock up and bring it with us on vacation.

Which is odd I know, but we don't snack like this on a regular basis and only tend to eat chips and dip when we have time to relax and play card games.

Many of you may use the Lipton Onion Soup Mix and this Onion Dill Dip is a cross between the two the two of them. Dips like these are great because many can be made in minutes so they're perfect for last minute entertaining.

Some of our other favorite cold dips include Garlic and Cheese Crudite Dip, Semi-Homemade Green Goddess Dip, Cucumber Yogurt Lime Dip and Buffalo Hummus.

Ingredients Needed

For this recipe you'll need the following ingredients:

  • mayonnaise
  • sour cream
  • dried onion flakes
  • dried parsley
  • dill weed (fresh or dried)
  • kosher salt

I'm partial to Hellman's mayonnaise as it's thick, creamy and doesn't have a dressing-like flavor; like some other brands. You can also lighten this up a bit by using reduced fat ingredients.
