Baked Honey Pecan Pork Chops

We eat boneless center cut pork chops at least once a week in our dinner rotation. Especially because I don't like any seafood and try not to eat beef too often. This limits us to chicken, pork or pasta for dinner. These Honey Pecan Pork Chops were not only delicious, but super easy to make too!

I love the flavors of Fall; which include sage, maple syrup and one of my favorite nuts, pecans. They're so rich and buttery and add a whole new depth of flavor to savory recipes.

Some of my family's favorite savory pecan recipes include Pecan Breaded Baked Chicken Strips, Bleu Cheese Pecan Chopped Salad, and Cranberry Pecan Turkey Salad; which is great for Thanksgiving leftovers!

How do you make Honey Pecan Pork Chops?

For this recipe you'll need pork chops, honey, and chopped pecans. I prefer the center cut boneless pork chops; which were approximately 1-inch thick. However, you can use bone-in chops as well, but adjust your cooking time depending on the thickness of the chop.

Start by preheating the oven to 375 degrees F; then place the honey in one bowl and the chopped pecans in another. Dip the pork chop first into the honey and then into the pecans; then place in an oven safe baking dish or on top of a baking sheet with wire rack.

Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until the internal temperature is at least 145 degrees F. Remove from the oven and allow to rest 5 minutes before serving.
