Triple chocolate walnut brownies topped with a Bailey's Irish Cream and cream cheese frosting makes a delicious St. Patrick's Day treat!
Cooking is more in my wheelhouse; which is why my dessert recipes have to be super easy. These Irish Cream Brownies are made with a box brownie mix and fun, homemade green cream cheese frosting. You can't get any easier than this!
The combination of the bright green color and taste of the minty Irish cream is perfect for St. Patrick's Day celebrations! This recipe makes 12 brownies and can be ready in less than 1 hour.
type of Brownie Mix
Personally, my favorite is Betty Crockers Supreme Triple Chunk Brownie Mix. You can get it with or without walnuts and it's always super moist and chocolatey!
I happened to use the kind with walnuts, but any brownie mix you prefer will work in this recipe.

- 9"x13" Nonstick Pan

Ingredients Needed
For the Brownies:
Brownie Mix: IMPORTANT! If using another type or brand of brownie mix, follow the directions on the package for how much oil and eggs; then substitute Bailey's Irish Cream for the required water.
Canola Oil: Or other light oil
Large Egg
Bailey's Irish Cream: Or any other brand of Irish Cream
Cooking Spray
Decorations: These are optional, but you can use green sprinkles or St. Patrick's Day themed decorations on top of the frosting.
For the Frosting:
Butter: The butter will need to be room temperature, so set it out at least 30 minutes prior to making the frosting.
Cream Cheese: The cream cheese will also need to be at room temperature.

How do you make Irish Cream Brownies?
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F; then spray a 9"x13" nonstick pan with cooking spray.
In a medium mixing bowl, add the brownie mix, oil, egg and Irish cream. Mix with a wooden spoon until well blended; then spread into the pan.
Bake for 25-30 minutes until the edges are crispy and the center is set. Remove from oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes before frosting.
Spread the prepared frosting on top of the brownies; then sprinkle with decorations (if applicable). Cut into 12 squares and enjoy!
How do you make the Green Bailey's Irish Cream Frosting?
While the brownies are cooking you can prepare the frosting. Add the the butter, cream cheese, sugar, Irish cream and 3 drops of food coloring to a mixing bowl; then cream together with a handheld electric mixer until smooth.
Keep refrigerated until you're ready to frost the brownies.
