This pizza looks just like candy corn, but made with Mozzarella and Cheddar cheeses. It's a fun kid friendly, Halloween dinner or snack idea!
Halloween is coming! It's not my favorite holiday, but our oldest who is now 25 LOVES it! She still can't wait to dress up every year and has even decorated inside the house fun decor.
The neighborhood where we live never really got a lot of trick or treaters, so we would go to my in-laws house instead. They live in a flat, circular development; which was easier for the kids to walk and get candy.
Then we'd come back to the house and eat pizza while my father in law inspected the candy haul before the girls ate any. So when I saw this idea for a candy corn looking pizza I just had to make it.
Besides my great nephews would LOVE making this themselves! It's a fun treat they can have either after school or for a quick dinner.
Why is it called Candy Corn pizza?
You either like or dislike candy corn. I for one am not a fan; which is why this concept just looks like the famous Halloween candy. The name comes from having the three colors: white, yellow and orange and is triangular shaped.
