2023 has come to an end, but these Top 10 recipes from Carrie's Experimental Kitchen are the gift that keep on giving.
Each year I compile a list of the top recipes from the previous year based on what what you, the reader, fell in love with.
I started Carrie's Experimental Kitchen in 2011 and since then have created over 1,300 recipes; which makes it hard to pick just 10!
2023 brought some tasty recipes to our home including some of my personal favorites:

Top 15 Recipes from 2023
#1 The Cheesecake Factory's Chicken Costoletta. Boneless chicken lightly breaded in a Panko and lemon crust, fried; then topped with a lemony cream sauce. This is one of my personal favorites and tastes just like the restaurant version!
#2 Baked Ziti with Meat Sauce is a classic, Italian casserole dish made with your favorite marinara sauce, ground beef, Ricotta and Mozzarella cheeses.
#3 Applebee's Oriental Dressing is another one of our favorite copycat recipes. The dressing tastes great on salads or as a condiment on your favorite sandwich.
#4 Seafood Linguine Linguine pasta tossed with fresh shrimp, sea scallops and lump crab meat in a creamy white wine alfredo sauce.
#5 Corn and Cheddar Mashed Potato Fritters This recipe was first created back in 2015 and still continues to make the popularity list every year. In fact, it's the 3rd most popular recipe of all time. It's a delicious way to utilize leftovers or just make extra mashed potatoes and corn to try them yourself!

#6 Chicken Balsamico made with bone-in chicken thighs cooked in a balsamic white wine sauce with fresh chopped rosemary. It's one of the first recipes I experimented with in early 2012 and it is still one of my personal favorites!
#7 Ground Beef Potato Casserole made with lean ground beef, diced potatoes, cream of mushroom soup and shredded Cheddar cheese baked in a creamy delicious casserole.
#8 Italian Ground Chicken Pasta Skillet is a quick and easy, all-in-one meal that's deliciously flavorful without the extra mess.
#9 Beef Ricotta Casserole Lean ground beef combined with mushrooms, onion, and garlic in a balsamic tomato sauce; then topped with a mixture of Ricotta, Mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses and baked until golden brown. Perfect for all of those following the Keto or a low carb diet!
# 10 Pork Scaloppine with a Lemon Cream Sauce made with boneless, center cut pork loin that has been breaded, pan fried; then topped with a lemon cream sauce.
