Weekly Meal Plan Week #7
Monday: Black Bean & Turkey Chili
This Black Bean and Turkey Chili is a hearty and healthy dinner that you can make ahead of time, then reheat for a quick weeknight meal. Add all of the ingredients to one pot; then let it do the work for you! You could make this in a slow cooker as well and cook on low which may helpful now that some of the kids have gone back to school in some U.S. states.
Suggested Sides: Tossed Salad, Rice or Egg Noodles
Tuesday: Dijon Mushroom Pan Seared Pork
If you’re looking for a meal that is easy to prepare, yet looks like you’ve been slaving in the kitchen for hours, then this recipe for Dijon Mushroom Pan Seared Pork is it. This recipe takes about ½ hour to make (depending on the thickness of your pork chops) and is super flavorful.
Suggested Sides: Horseradish Cheddar Cauliflower Gratin
Wednesday: Pesto Mac n' Cheese
Pesto Mac n' Cheese made with garden fresh herb pesto, a lightened up creamy Alfredo sauce and your favorite pasta; then topped with buttery Italian breadcrumbs and baked until hot and bubbly. Dig in, I know you want to!
Suggested Sides: Tossed Salad
Thursday: Grilled Chicken Parmesan Sliders
These Grilled Chicken Parmesan Sliders take only 20 minutes to make and are much healthier than the classic sandwich. Get the kids involved in making dinner with this quick and easy recipe.
Suggested Sides: Baked Zucchini Wedges
Friday: Madeira Marinated London Broil
London Broil marinated in Madeira wine, extra virgin olive oil, fresh squeezed lemon juice, garlic and oregano; then grilled to perfection. You can marinate the beef for as little as 2 hours to get the flavor infused; however, I do recommend you let it sit a little longer to really give it a robust flavor.
Suggested Sides: Rosemary Red Potato & Leek Galette and Herb Creamed Spinach
